EDDRA is a multilingual online information system and data collection tool on evaluated programmes and interventions in the field of drug demand reduction. The acronym stands for "Exchange on Drug Demand Reduction Action". Established in 1996, EDDRA provides details on a wide range of good practice in prevention, treatment and harm reduction programmes in the EU, while promoting the exchange of professional expertise. EDDRA was designed to help professionals and policy-makers plan and implement high-quality interventions in response to drug consumption. It offers search facilities by country, language, theme and target group. EDDRA is a Reitox core task and all national focal points report projects and programmes into EDDRA. In April 2006, the database contained 590 entries.
